1. Ali Refai Girls Secondary School – Upgrading and Official Opening In October, Ali Refai Girls Secondary School underwent a spectacular
transformation! All development and upgrading works were successfully
completed and officially handed over to the General Authority for Educational
Buildings. On October 5th, students returned to a vibrant, fully upgraded
environment, enjoying improved learning spaces, modern facilities, and a school
that truly inspires

The Deputy Governor visited on October 12th, praising the remarkable
improvements and confirming that the school is now one of the top schools in the
governorate.

The official opening ceremony on October 19th brought together Hans Bruins,
CEO of Ras Ghareb Wind Energy and Red Sea Wind Energy, the CEO of Suez Wind
Energy, representatives from Gold Wind, and city leadership, led by the Mayor of
Ras Ghareb. This was the first-ever joint collaboration among the three wind
energy companies, with each company contributing one-third of the development
works, while Gold Wind generously provided all the school furniture. Students
delighted guests with a musical performance, and key contributors were formally
honored, marking a historic partnership and a major milestone in RSWE CSR
initiatives.

2. Global Challenge Day – Children with Special Needs RSWE proudly concluded its 2025 CSR by celebrating the Global Challenge Day for
Children with Special Needs at the Special Education School, in partnership with
Gold Wind.
The event welcomed 85 children, featuring a handmade exhibition, performances
by the children, inspirational messages from distinguished guests, and interactive
activities that created an atmosphere of inclusion, joy, and community
participation.
The active involvement of the RSWE and Gold Wind teams reinforced their shared
commitment to empowerment, inclusion, and social responsibility. Gifts provided
by Gold Wind left a lasting positive impact, making the day memorable and
meaningful for all participants

3. Ras Ghareb Stakeholder Visits and Feedback At the end of December, field visits were conducted with stakeholders across Ras
Ghareb, during which questionnaires were distributed to evaluate the
effectiveness of RSWE CSR activities. The feedback received was overwhelmingly
positive, highlighting the significant impact of our initiatives on the local
community. In addition, stakeholders provided valuable insights and identified
needs to be integrated into the 2026 CSR Plan, ensuring that future programs
continue to address the community’s priorities and maximize social impact.
