The first quarter of 2025 was marked by impactful initiatives that showcased RSWE’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. 1. Deputy Governor’s Visit to RSWE Wind Energy Site – February 19, 2025

On February 19, 2025, the Deputy Governor paid an official visit to the Red Sea  Wind Energy (RSWE) site, accompanied by a delegation from the Egyptian Center for Human Rights. The visit aimed at witnessing the project's progress and assessing compliance with occupational health and safety standards. During the tour, attendees expressed their appreciation for the achieved level of safe and sustainable working environment. The visit also highlighted RSWE’s CSR contributions in the education and healthcare sectors. The delegation concluded the visit with positive commendations for the efficient project execution.

2. Stakeholder Consultation Session – Phase Two – February 24, 2025

As part of the RSWE’s registration process with the Gold Standard[1], a stakeholder consultation session was conducted on February 24, 2025, at the city council Hall. The session is the second one conducted for its purpose. It aimed at announcing the start of the first COD, and to announce the 150 MW extension works. The event was attended by government representatives, community leaders, and industry experts. The session included participation from stakeholders, who shared their feedback on the project’s environmental impact and RSWE’s CSR projects in the education and healthcare sectors.

On February 28, 2025, in collaboration with Ras Ghareb Wind Energy, RSWE launched a charitable initiative to distribute 335 Ramadan food boxes to families in need. Each box included essential food supplies to support recipients during the holy month. The distribution process was carefully managed in coordination with the local stakeholders to ensure the aid reached the most deserving families.

RSWE and RGWE employees actively volunteered in the distribution, reflecting the company’s strong culture of social responsibility and solidarity. This initiative is part of RSWE’s ongoing efforts towards Ras Ghareb community development.



4. Donation of Bilirubin Measuring Device – March 10, 2025

RSWE donated a Bilirubin measuring device on March 10, 2025, to the Children's Clinic. The device is to treat the symptoms of jaundice in children. The device was officially received by the Director of Social Solidarity, reaffirming RSWE’s commitment to improving children’s healthcare in Ras Ghareb.

5. Orphan’s Day Celebration – March 25, 2025

RSWE organized an event to celebrate Egyptian Orphans Day. The company provided new Eid clothes, toys, and traditional Eid cookies for orphaned children. The initiative supported 35 families and 59 orphaned children and was successfully coordinated in partnership with Goldwind and ORSCOM.

Ressala Charity Association invited the children and their families to the celebration. Aspire Academy Organization participated in the event and organized games for the children. Later, a group Iftar was held, creating a warm and unified atmosphere. During the celebration, the Director of Social Solidarity honored RSWE’s CEO, Mr. Anthony Watson, in recognition of the company’s contributions.
